Private Yoga, Breath and Meditation Instruction
$60 per 1.5 hour session.
Private yoga sessions are my primary focus. Privates are ideal for beginning or deepening a yoga practice. I'll work with you to develop a sequence that addresses your desired outcomes, and write it out for your home practice. I integrate bodywork into private yoga sessions with hands on adjustments and assisted yoga postures.
Each yoga session is customized to meet your needs for breath training, mindfulness meditation instruction, stretching and strengthening.

What to Expect
Yoga practice is ideal for clearing blocked energy and restoring harmonious, inspired energy flow in the body, heart and mind. Practice begins with mindfulness meditation and opening to the breath. Breath awareness is the the central focus and classes are sequenced to unfold and deepen easefully with the breath. Each class is unique in that there is an infinite variety of asanas, variations, and modifications to source from, while class structure is consistent in that poses flow from one to the next on the breath. You'll receive instruction on basic posture form and how to establish steadfast pose foundations, and then express each pose fully and expansively from the inside out, while honoring and exploring your individual needs and goals. Sequences include sun salutations, forward bends, back bends, twists, balance poses, inversions, and deep relaxation. Learn to use yoga straps and blocks to support the body's optimal alignment. You'll hold some poses for longer to allow shifts to occur on deeper levels. Specific alignment instruction and hands on adjustments are offered to cultivate body awareness and encourage a safe, full experience of each pose for each person.
